Girl : Guys, you are NRJ idols, but you are idols for Julie (NRJ girl) first and foremost, so all together, we say a big thank you !

Girl : It was almost good!
*Laughs*
Girl : David, why to come to pay homage to Musique Plus ? Ehh, not Musique Plus ! ..
David : Ya, we came to tribute Musique Plus. We’ll play Musique Plus’ songs!
*laughs*
Girl : It’s because it rhymes! Musique Plus, Francois Perusse, still. Except the fact that our boss asked you guys, what are you gonna do pay homage to him?
Dave : Well, we’ll do the song “Bat bat boy” (a song of his based on “Bad Bad Boys” by Midi, Maxi & Efti)
*starts singing*
Dave : So it was sounding good, but the difficult thing is that we are 6 in the band. 2 keyboards, guitar, bass, vocals, so we had to find a song that everyone could play, you understand ? There was so many choices, so we said “Okay! We’ll go for this one!”
Girl : Phil, you need to sing me some!
*everyone cheers Phil*
Phil : I’m really bad with that. But I like Dr. Maillet.
Girl : Go for it!
Phil : The Dr.Maillet? No, no, no! No, but for real, what I love from Perusse it’s there always something in life, someone says something, the way the person says it that will always reminds you of Perusse! You’re always able to pick up a sentence from Perusse’s! Always!
Girl : We all have a mom, a sister or an aunt who does “Mona” ! We all hear it ! Probably even from your girlfriends, you hear it!
Phil : Always! Everything! Everything always makes us reminds of Perusse!
Chris : Phil reminds me of Perusse!
*laughs*
Chris : I mean, sometimes, you do something, like he said later, and then he says 3 or 4 words and you are like “ What are you talking about?!” But finally, it was from Perusse. I really like Perusse, I don’t know all of his by heart, like Phil does, but yeah it’s cool!
Girl : You (talking to Frank) wear the hat, so you don’t have to use the hair straighter.
Frank : Exactly! It’s totally this! *laughs* No, but, I’m sweating when I play drums, it flows in the eyes.
Girl : So, The New Cities can you play us acoustically a little bit of “Bat Bat Boy” ? Acapalette instead ? So, it’s acapelette, The New Cities!

Girl : Oh you guys are amazing ! Wow! It’s almost a phantasm of career that i’ve just lived! Singing with The New Cities, also a Francois Perusse song! Thanks guys! You are awesome !

Tribute to Francois Perusse

May 6th, Dave and Julien were on the set of MOD for a little interview that you can watch here ! (Pick the 6th clip) In this interview, Dave annonced the name of song of their next music video which is gonna be : LOOKS MINUS SUBSTANCE ! This is the only thing we know about it yet. Yes, if you had forgot, today is frank's birthday ! :D We still don't know how old is he now, since the guys never want to talk about that !
