Official : Looks Minus Substance music video!

It's official, the next music video of The New Cities will be "Looks Minus Substance" ! And guess what?! The shooting starts TOMORROW! It will take place in Montreal and will be directing by their good friend Jonathan Desbiens , who also directed "Dead End Countdown" and "Leaders Of The Misled". David will also be co-directing, let's hope he won't screw it up! Haha , just kidding! We're sure that he's gonna do an excellent work ! :) Stay tuned for pictures and more sneak peeks!

Hey everyone! We're not gonna bore you with long explanations of why there hasn't been a post in over a month. Point is, there hasn't and we're sorry. Things are kinda slow in the TNC world right now, and we've been busy. But to be completely honest- we've really let this blog go down. BUT! We're bringing it back up! We'll be posting at least twice a week. Wether it's new news, old news or just little things you may not have known about our favorite boys! Dave and Julien on MOD!

May 6th, Dave and Julien were on the set of MOD for a little interview that you can watch here ! (Pick the 6th clip) In this interview, Dave annonced the name of song of their next music video which is gonna be : LOOKS MINUS SUBSTANCE ! This is the only thing we know about it yet. Keep your eyes and ears open for more infos coming soon ! :)

The New Cities HyperTronic Superstar video shoot on Etalk!

The interview was on the set of there upcoming Single "Hypertronic Superstar" video shoot! In the interview the guy's talk about their success in '09 and being on tour with Simple Plan and Marianas Trench. The New Cities at L'univers MusiquePlus

You guys may have already seen this, but I'm sure it won't hurt anybody to watch it AGAIN! ;) So ya, on September 1st, Dave,Julien, Chris and Frank were on this new tv show called L'Univers MusiquePlus to play an acoustic version of Dead End Countdown. The New Cities Playlist!

The New Cities (well actually just Julien, Dave and Nick) were on the Musique Plus show "La Playlist De..." where they play some of their favorite music videos! Unfortunately for those of you who can't speak/understand french,you probably won't understand the interview. But you will still get to see some of their favorite music videos and to sum up the interview for you, they pretty much talk about the summer tour they have been on,and the band's success! Julien and Franks old band!

We got another e-mail from someone (hey Lili!) talking about ANOTHER band that Julien and Frank were in! A band called "Soma Addict" from what we can hear Julien is the lead singer of the band again. Obviously the band doesn't really exist anymore,so their myspace is closed. But their Pure Volume page is still open, so go check it out! There are two songs up on it, as well as some pictures. First of all we would like to apolagize for the lack of post recently! Summer has been keeping us busy! BUT today we got an email from a TNC fan (Hi Jennifer!) where she told us about how Julien used to be in another band called "The Flangers" where he was the lead singer!And with this, she sent a link to one of their music videos for a song called "Fragile" we found this quite entertaining! But we still Love you Julien!! n_n Here is the video!
