Translation of the interview of Dave and Nick at Musique Plus
Okay! I know it took a while hence the lack of time, but it's now done! Here's the translation of the interview of Dave and Nick when the guys stopped at Musique Plus before going in Toronto for Vans Warped Tour. You can also watch the interview here !
R = Rej (the interviewer)
D = David
N = Nick
R- The guys are coming.
D- On the spot!
R- That’s live television!
D- Ahhhhhhhh!
R- Come on big boy, we’re gonna stand up! We tried to find a good spot in front of your tour bus. You guys came to see us, like I said sooner, you guys are doing a “bathroom break” in Musique Plus before to go to Toronto for the Vans Warped Tour. And there is some of the others guys that decided to stay inside, because it still really hot and we got the AC.
N- For the first time.
D- We got the AC in this beautiful tour bus too !
R- The other guys are inside, and you are late! *talking to Nick*
*laughs*
D- Nick was so hot, he didn’t have any t-shirt and jeans left. He said to himself: “Oh my God! I need to dress up for the tv!” . Is that true ?
N- I did that fast !
R- You did that really fast! You did it like a big b... I was gonna say like a big boy, but the guys over 6 feets hear that really often ! Guys, Vans Warped Tour ! As soon as the interview is fisnish, you guys are going to Toronto!
D- Yep!
R- It takes place tomorrow and Saturday, it stops in Montreal, a half-hour set. How do you prepare for that, mentally ?
N- Sunscreen! Little bottles of water!
D- I bought a little pack that you can put your little bottle of water in it so it stays fresh to your belt.
N- Or in your back.
D- You’re talking about the Camel Pack.
R- Or there is the hat that you usually put beer on it, but we could put water!
D- But, we move a lot, it wouldn’t be a good idea. Le Camel Pack, I’m buying it! You hide it in your shirt, the straw close to your mouth! *do the sounds of drinking*
R- It’s good that you guys are prepared because it looks like there is a lot of festivals for The New Cities this summer!
D- Actually, what does suck and what is fun by playing outside is that, when it’s beautiful, it’s beautiful! But, when it’s raining, you have to deal with it, and ‘til now, all the festivals we did, it rained..
R- No?! *surprised*
D- Ya, but it always stopped at the right moment! There’s always a little stress. There is Sherbrooke that is coming!
N- Sherbrooke the 14th!
D- Nations of Lake with Kaïn, I think it’s confirmed.
R- “Gibelotte” festival! You guys are going almost all over the province!
D- I’m going to ask you fast question Rej, what is “gibelotte”? I don’t know.
R- That’s a really good question!
D- There is the Cheese Festival, I understand that, it’s cheese. Blueberry Festival. But what’s “gibelotte”?
R- Oh! I was told in the ear that it’s a boiled with fish!
D- Mmmm...
R- You’re gonna be there!
D- Ya, we’re gonna be there for the “gibelotte” and the people in Soel! Mister vegetarian! *points Nicolas*
R- But what is great is that you guys are going to Toronto, we wish you, well, if you guys had already a little bit of rain, it’s because now we had some 45 degrees for a week, let’s hope it won’t be like July 10th on last year at Warped Tour, total flood! We wish you a beautiful and warm and fun day to play here in Montreal!
N- Warm, like semi-cloudy. It’s always the best. When I was going there every year, you were happy when there was some clouds, ‘til it started raining..
D- Just a little cute sun!
R- Sometimes, just a few drops to refresh, but just that!
D- Just a few, about for 10 minutes maximum.
R- For all the tour dates, because we talked about that since the beginning, you can visit the The New Cities’ website. All the dates are there, there are going almost everywhere in the province. Guys, thank you infinitely to came to refresh yourself, to do a little pee-pee in Musique Plus and have a good way to Toronto and then a good way to return in here in Montreal!

The New Cities Playlist!
The New Cities (well actually just Julien, Dave and Nick) were on the Musique Plus show "La Playlist De..." where they play some of their favorite music videos! Unfortunately for those of you who can't speak/understand french,you probably won't understand the interview. Audio interview by Chase March
Today, we have for you a cool audio interview! It's a little bit old, but still interesting! Chase March sat down with Nick and Julien to talk about a lot stuff.
